One stop at a time, toward the city
- 1 stop — TRX (Tun Razak Exchange): KL’s financial district, The Exchange TRX mall, future Monash KL campus.
- 2 stops — Bukit Bintang: Pavilion, Jalan Alor, the retail-and-nightlife core.
- 3 stops — Merdeka: Merdeka 118 and the historic core.
- 4 stops — Pasar Seni: Central Market, Chinatown, and the Kelana Jaya LRT interchange.
- 5 stops — Muzium Negara: the covered-walkway interchange to KL Sentral, the country’s main transit hub.
Add the Maluri interchange (to the LRT) one hop the other way, and Cochrane plugs into most of the rail network without a car.
The city, close
A typical commuter week: a one-stop ride to the office at TRX, lunch at The Exchange TRX, a Friday-night hop to Bukit Bintang for dinner, a weekend museum or Central Market trip via Pasar Seni, and an occasional KL Sentral connection for airport rail or intercity travel — all without touching a car or hunting for parking.

Why the doorstep station matters
Plenty of homes claim to be “near the MRT.” The difference at Cochrane is that the station is at the doorstep — a short covered walk, not a ten-minute feeder ride or a drive-and-park. For a commuter, that last-100-metres convenience is the whole game: it’s the difference between using the MRT every day and using it when you can be bothered. Road access via Jalan Tun Razak, the MEX and the SMART Tunnel keeps drivers’ flexibility — but the train does the heavy lifting.
